I was once that guy, but now I'm not, though I guess I could still be that guy.

Money is passed around quite a lot. We often think of where and how to spend it, but have you ever thought of using it as a canvas or a way to share a message? Well, wether bordem or an agenda many people have put their mark on currency. Here are some sites that have compiled examples:

Persecuted For Wearing The Beard

without comments

Image of Joseph Palmer's grave stone. Image by Jon Dyer. I know that I’ve mentioned the story of Joseph Palmer to a few people, but wanted to make a note of it here for myself and those who may have not heard it yet. A story that seems to be easily forgotten in U.S.A. history, it should not be. Persecution can come in all shapes and sizes and over something as simple a man wearing a beard.

My goatee has often drawn interest from people and most of which is positive or inquisitive. I do get the comments that I should cut it off, more often by people I have known for a while and I do not really mind. They are free to have their opinion and in this case I am going to ignore it or insist that they are just jealous. But I’ve heard others make comments about people with tattoos, piercings, different ethnicities , so on and so forth. I may have some mental deficiencies (those who know me would say I should drop the may), but I don’t understand why some people are so bothered by other people not being like them.

Be wary of your own prejudices, they do not serve you well.
